2017 Volvo XC90 Release Date
Volvo XC90 updates already new in 2017 will include the latest step the autonomous-driving Pilot assist II. This will be a standard SUV equipment in selected markets and will be reflected on the S90 sedan.
The driver can override the system at any time, of course, just turn off the cruise control (with brake or cancel/off button) or by accelerating or turning the steering wheel. Let go of the steering wheel for a few seconds also disable the system. To change the path, however, use the turn signals and the wheel to make a line change does not replace the Pilot assist II.
The addition of another new XC90 for model years 2017 including PowerPulse for diesel variants. It is designed to eliminate the barriers found in most turbo diesel engine by adding electric compressor and pressurized two-liter water tank to the powertrain. Fresh air enters the vehicle through the air filter is compressed and stored in tanks. When the throttle is pressed for quick acceleration, the compressed air is released into the gas manifold for quick spool the turbo to immediately increase.
Also added is a new update for the Volvo City safety. The standard collision avoidance system, which includes the avoidance of pedestrians and small vehicle (bicycle), now updated to include large animals.
Each update is being done for the 2017 XC90 will also appear on the S90 sedan and wagon types V90.
2017 Volvo XC90 will go on sale the end of 2016 as a 2017 year.
