2017 Bugatti Chiron Release Date


This is what Ferdinand Piech decreed to engineers building the new 2017 Bugatti Chiron: it should have a top speed of over 250 mph, should be able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just under 3.0 seconds, had to offer in excess of 1,000 horsepower.

Let’s cut to the chase: the 2017 Bugatti Chiron will come equipped with a revised W-16 mill that is able to send a staggering 1,479 horsepower and 1,180 lbs. ft. of torque to all the wheels. This power makes it more powerful than the Koenigsegg One:1 with an extra 139 horsepower to spare.
For safety purposes, the Chiron is electronically limited to a top speed of “only” 261 mph. without the limiter, the Chiron should be able to get past the 270 mph.

Release Date & Price

When it comes to pricing, Bugatti says the Chiron will go for sale for 2.4M euros. Orders are being received, at least as of the time of this review writing. As for its release date, expect the new Chiron sometime in early 2017.

Exterior

Some of the features that distinguish the Chiron from the successful predecessor include LED headlights in four piece design, slimmer lower air intakes, optimized aerodynamics, and an eye-catching C-shaped curve on the side profile. New paint colors are available as well.

Interior

No plastic has been used on the interior of the Chiron. Instead it comes with surface-covered leather, aluminum, and carbon-fiber. Features include a state of the art sound system, a simple and classy gauge, and a wider center stack.

Engine Specs

Under the hoof the 2017 Bugatti Chiron is a powerful, 8.L W-12 engine rated at 1,180 pounds-feet of torque and 1,479 horsepower. 0-62 mph takes a blistering 2.5 seconds, and a top speed of 261 mph. MPG details have not yet been supplied.
